Getting started

Hi--
We discovered lapbooking a couple of years ago and it has evolved to become the main source of structure in our eclectic homeschool. We focus on our boys' (ages 7 1/2, NT and 11, ASD) interests, help them do research, and tie it all together with a lapbook that they can go back to look at as many times as they like. I'll be posting photos of all of the lapbooks we've done as well as links to some of my favorite sites and resources.

Thank you so much for sharing.I went to a HS conference this weekend and Lapbooking was one of the workshops I took. I left the workshop feeling inspired and overwhelmed! Your idea to use your pets as the subject for your first lapbook was a great idea! So that is where we will start.
We have 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs and a neighborhood cat.

Thanks again

Thank you so much for your site. I'm looking up lapbooking information as we are new to this and your site is very helpful. I took a class and loved it but am needing to see how others do it to get more of a feel for it.
Thanks! Phyllis

Hi,
We just started doing lapbooks. I however have never created one...just bought ones. I think our first homemade lapbook MUST now be "Our Pet Book." My girls will LOVE it as a "Silly Friday" project. thanks for sharing! Mary
